Most of us have ancestors who grew up and lived their lives on a farm. Therefore, we hope that many of will feel at home with a visit to Sörgården. We read the Boundweave from the bottom up. It is snow and winter, the snow is falling and we are going to the farm in a sleigh behind a safe ardenner, we aim for a stable lamp that glows in the winter darkness .Next the early spring arrives and the free range sheep get fresh green grass to eat. Behind the sheep is an old wooden fence which forms a beautiful pattern against the lake. From the yard, mother goose is waddling with her little nestlings to take a swim in the lake and up on the hill is the barn with its thatched roof. Nasse is happy behind the barn when it is summer and it’s a long time to Christmas. The beautiful wooden pichforks are useful when making hayracks at midsummer. There are many stonewalls in our elongated country, which are reminds us of the hard work of our ancestors. In the meadows in the high summer heat lies the cows, surrounded by fresh green grass. In the evening, the farmers wife is standing on the farmyard, filtering the milk of the day. A little ladybug is heading into the ripening rye field in the late summer. It will be autumn and the chickens will probably stay a little longer in the hen house in the mornings. The casks begin to fill with food for the winter and the women in the house sits back in the looms to weave beautiful patterns. The cat's bowl is filled with fresh milk and on the rug, the cat lies with her ball of yarn and dozes in the heat from the fireplace. The frying pans, one of many cooking vessels in the kitchen are hanging above the fireplace . The ceramic pot is good for various souses or to put the autumn flowers in. At the top is the Sörgårdens manor house in the autumn sun with pale red wooden walls and brick tiles on the roof. A gravel path leading to the entrance. Above all hovers, the migratory birds and the birds that stay with us stay all winter long.
