Sverigeresan takes us on a trip trough Sweden. From top to bottom - Stockholm City Hall. Built 1911–1923. Architect Ragnar Östberg. The height of the tower is 105 m. The Marieberg tiled stoves at Sturehov in Södermanland are famous for their glaze and fresh floral decoration. In Närke we find Lake Fagertärn whose red water lilies were discovered in 1856. They have been protected since 1905 through Sweden's first protection! In Dalsland we stop at the aqueduct in Håverud, where the road bridge crosses Dalsland's canal and the railway bridge. In Gothenburg we see "Feskekörka" so-called p.g.a. its sacred design. Architect Victor von Gegerfelt. Built in 1874. Fish is sold here by knowledgeable, friendly and articulate sellers. In Bohuslän in the Tanum area, we visit the extensive rock carvings from about 1000 years before Christ. This is one of the country's biggest attractions. In Östergötland - in Norrköping - we visit the Museum of Work in the old former cotton mill "Strykjärnet". In Västergötland, we find the Sparlösastenen - near Stora Levene - one of Sweden's most remarkable rune stones, from around the year 800. Unique due to its rare imagery, and the two different runic alphabets. Varberg's fortress in Halland, a facility from the 17th century, but whose oldest core - the castle - is from the 13th century. "Glasriket", Småland. In the Växjö area. The oldest glasswork is Kosta Glasbruk - from 1742. In Gotland we start in Visby, the ring wall is from  the 13th century. 3.5 km long with 44 towers as protection for the still ancient inner city. Öland is easy to visit via the Öland Bridge. Sailfree height is 36 m. Inaugurated in 1972 at that time the longest bridge in Europe. Next in the weave the Skanssundet's lighthouse south of the bridge. In Blekinge at the Marine Museum in Karlskrona, we see Johan Törnström's fantastic galleon figures made in wood, reminding of Greek marble statues (1700–1800s). See detail above to the right. The weave ends in Skåne with willow trees, since the 17th century the hallmark of the plains of Skåne The half-timbered houses at "Lilla Torg" in Malmö are just as old.
